Quarter-Round Calm — Seamless Finishing
A soft quarter-round curve that finishes a room in one quiet move. Used as shoe moulding at the baseboard, it closes the floor–wall gap and refines the transition; the same radius profile also works wherever a slim, rounded edge is needed and milled in Paulownia hardwood—notably lightweight and easy to work—and delivered factory-primed for a smooth, paint-ready surface.
Features
- Profile: Quarter round (an actual quarter-circle radius) commonly used as shoe moulding with baseboards to cover expansion gaps and finish the floor edge.
- Material: Paulownia hardwood — extremely lightweight, easy to cut and nail; accepts glue and finishes nicely.
- A factory-primed, paint-ready surface allows for faster finishing and smoother top coats. (Pre-primed trim is sold specifically to be painted on site.)
- Single size: 1-1/16 in × 1-1/16 in × 10′ — longer sticks reduce joints along runs.
- Use cases: Baseboard shoe for floating floors and uneven edges; finishing inside corners, cabinets, and built-ins.
- Install: Cut/cope or mitre; brad/finish-nail to baseboard or wall; caulk and paint.
