Tight 90° Turns, Code-Clean
ABS 90° short-turn elbow for a tight, clean change of direction in an ABS DWV line — the fitting that turns a drain or vent the full quarter without the wide sweep of a long-turn pattern, so it fits where space is tight behind a wall or under a fixture. Both ends are hub sockets sized for Schedule 40 IPS ABS, solvent-welded for a rigid joint that holds its angle once the run is strapped. It meets ASTM D2661 and CSA B181.1 and carries cUPC and NSF/ANSI 14 certification, the listings an inspector checks on a residential or light-commercial rough-in across the GTA. Stocked in 1½", 2", and 3" — the sizes that cover most fixture drops, branch turns, and vent stacks. A short-turn 90 is a non-pressurized DWV fitting only; test the system hydrostatically, never with compressed air or gas.
