Street-smart bend, code-clean DWV.
A compact street-pattern 90° elbow for crisp direction changes in ABS DWV lines. The spigot end inserts into a fitting; the hub accepts pipe, allowing fewer parts and tighter layouts. Solvent-weld for a rigid join; aligns with ASTM D2661 (ABS DWV) and CSA B181.1, and is commonly cUPC-listed for code compliance. DWV only—non-pressurized service.
Features
- Street pattern (SPG × HUB): one male spigot end fits directly into another fitting; the hub receives pipe—saves a coupling and space.
- DWV application: non-pressurized sanitary drain/vent systems; install by solvent cementing.
- Standards: built to ASTM D2661 (ABS DWV, Sch. 40 IPS) and CSA B181.1.
- Listings: cUPC (IAPMO mark for US/Canada plumbing code); many ABS DWV programs are NSF/ANSI 14 certified.
- Material advantages: ABS is durable, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant for long-term performance.
- Safety note: Do not test with compressed air or gas; DWV fittings have typical service limits of around 140 °F (as per manufacturer guidance).
