
Smooth 45° Offsets, Solvent-Welded
ABS 45° elbow for a gentle change of direction in an ABS DWV line — the half-quarter bend (a 1/8-bend in trade shorthand) that eases a drain or vent around an obstacle without the abrupt turn of a 90. Both ends are hub sockets sized for Schedule 40 IPS ABS, solvent-welded for a rigid joint that keeps flow moving on the drainage side. It meets ASTM D2661 and CSA B181.1 and carries cUPC and NSF/ANSI 14 certification, the listings an inspector checks on a residential or light-commercial rough-in across the GTA. Stocked in 1½", 2", and 3" — the sizes that handle most offsets and angle changes in branch and stack work. A 45 is a non-pressurized DWV fitting only; test the system hydrostatically, never with compressed air or gas.

LESSO warrants this fitting against manufacturing defects in material and dimension. Coverage requires installation per ASTM D2661 and CSA B181.1 using ABS solvent cement. Damage from pressure service, compressed-air testing, solvent misuse, or installation outside published DWV practice is not covered.
