Sealed Bottom, Built to Conceal
ABS P-trap with a swivel union and no bottom cleanout — the “less cleanout” pattern that trades the threaded plug for a sealed U-bend, removing the one joint most likely to weep on a concealed install. With no plug at the base, it's the trap to reach for behind a finished wall, under a tub deck, or anywhere a future leak would be hard to get at. The union nut still lets you break the trap open to clear a clog or recover a dropped ring without cutting pipe, and the U-bend holds a water seal against sewer gas. Both ends are hub sockets sized for Schedule 40 IPS ABS, solvent-welded for a rigid, permanent joint. It's a LESSO America ABS DWV fitting conforming to ASTM D2661 and CSA B181.1 with NSF/ANSI 14 and cUPC listings. Stocked in 1½" and 2" for sink, tub, and branch drains. DWV service only; test hydrostatically, never with compressed air or gas.
