Snaps In. Grips Tight. No Tools.
A pot-light rough-in lives or dies on how fast the cable lands in the housing, and a threaded connector with a locknut is the slow part. The Nodexa push-in connector drops that step: the black-button body snaps into a standard 1/2″ knockout under finger pressure and grips a 14/2, 12/2, or 10/2 NMD90 cable on the way through — no locknut, no screwdriver, no reaching behind the box for a nut that won't start. Molded from high-impact thermoplastic, a smooth internal bushing guards the cable jacket against the sharp edge of a steel knockout, holding the sheathing intact where a raw hole would nick it over time. Rated to CSA and UL pull-out requirements for non-metallic sheathed cable in dry locations, it does the one job a cable connector has — hold the wire, protect the jacket — and gets out of the way. A NorthLine Signature electrical part, sold 100 to a box for the electrician wiring a ceiling full of recessed lights, where the connector count climbs fast and every saved second per fixture adds up across the job.
