Schluter KERDI is the sheet-applied waterproofing membrane that lets a tiled shower be waterproofed and tiled in one continuous system — bond it to the substrate, set tile directly onto it, and the wet area is sealed without a separate liner. Built on a modified-polyethylene (PEVA) core just 8 mil thick, with anchoring fleece on both faces that keys into thin-set mortar, KERDI carries a 0.90-perm vapor rating and meets ANSI A118.10 for bonded waterproof membranes — the spec that matters when an inspector or a GC asks. It is cUPC listed and evaluated by ICC-ES under ESR-2467, so it lands code-compliant on residential and commercial wet-area jobs across the GTA: showers, bathtub surrounds, and residential steam rooms. The 3' 3" roll handles standard shower walls and floors; the 6' 7" wide roll covers floor-to-showerhead height in fewer seams for faster production work.
