The Tegra Pro 3 mm Acoustic Underlayment puts a quieter, denser layer under floating laminate, engineered, and solid-wood floors — built for condos and multi-unit projects where footfall noise matters. The high-density closed-cell EVA foam is tested to IIC 72 (ASTM E492) and STC 73 (ASTM E90), so it knocks down both impact and airborne sound, and a pre-attached silver moisture-barrier film blocks subfloor vapour with no separate poly needed on most installs. At 3 mm it cushions the step, conceals minor subfloor defects, and adds R-3 thermal value, while a high-density build resists flattening over time. The pre-attached tape strip and overlap seal seams fast as you go. One roll covers 200 sq ft.
