Brass PEX 90° Elbow
PEX bends, but it doesn't bend sharply — force a tight corner and the tubing kinks. The brass PEX 90° elbow exists for that corner: a forged, lead-free DZR fitting that turns a 1/2″ line hard through studs, joists, and cabinet backs while the tubing stays relaxed on either side. Machined to ASTM F1807, its barbs seal with standard copper crimp rings or stainless steel pinch clamps — the same tool that does every other fitting on the job. Rated to 100 psi at 180°F and certified for potable water, it serves supply lines and hydronic loops on any SDR-9 PEX — A, B, or C. The bore runs full-flow for the size, so fixtures downstream don't feel the corner. Sold as a single for the service call or a 50-pack for the rough-in, it's the fitting that turns a clean drawing into a clean wall cavity — and then disappears into it.
