Brass PEX Tee
Every fixture a water line feeds starts at a branch, and the branch starts with a brass PEX tee — one 1/2″ run split into two without adapters, unions, or a soldered joint. This is the fitting a repipe consumes by the box: forged from lead-free DZR brass, machined to ASTM F1807, and seated with standard copper crimp rings or stainless steel pinch clamps, so it works with the crimp tool already in the pouch. Rated to 100 psi at 180°F, it carries potable water and hydronic heating alike on any SDR-9 PEX — A, B, or C. The tee reads side × side × middle, and this one runs 1/2″ across all three legs, the size that feeds most sinks, toilets, and fixture loops in a residential build. Available as a single for the service call or a 50-pack for the rough-in, it holds its seal through pressure testing and disappears into the wall the way good rough-in hardware should — specified once, then forgotten for the life of the system.
