Brass PEX Coupling
A line comes up short, a nail finds a run, two coils need to become one — the brass PEX coupling closes the gap. This one joins 1/2″ PEX to 1/2″ PEX in lead-free DZR forged brass, machined to ASTM F1807 so it seals with the same copper crimp rings or stainless steel pinch clamps as every other crimp fitting in the pouch. Rated to 100 psi at 180°F and certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water, it carries supply lines and hydronic loops on any SDR-9 PEX — A, B, or C — and meets CSA B137.5 for Canadian systems. The barbs are full-depth, the shoulders give the crimp ring a clean landing, and the finished splice pressure-tests like the tubing was never cut. Stock a few singles for the service van or the 50-pack for the rough-in cart — it's the smallest fitting on the truck and the one that saves the day most often.
