1/2″ PEX-B Tubing — 100 ft Coil, White · Blue · Red for Hot & Cold Water

The advantage of PEX over rigid pipe is the one you feel the first time you pull a run: 100 feet of tubing bends around corners and snakes through joists in a single length, so a bathroom group that would take a dozen copper elbows and as many solder joints becomes one continuous line with a connection only at each end. This is 1/2″ PEX-B — the cross-linked polyethylene made by the silane (moisture-cure) method — rated for both hot and cold potable water and hydronic heat. It resists scale and won't corrode like copper, and because the wall flexes, it tolerates a freeze that would split a rigid line, expanding rather than bursting. The color is there to keep you organized, not to change the pipe: red for hot, blue for cold, white for either. Terminate it with F1807 crimp rings, stainless cinch clamps, or push-fit fittings. It's the material that turned a plumber's rough-in from a soldering marathon into an afternoon.
